If you need to talk, I'm here to listen

Welcome all new Ewesletter subscribers and hello to all readers. Please enjoy this monthly newsletter and thank you for subscribing and for sharing this Ewesletter with your friends. As a subscriber, you are among the first to hear about what's going on at Homespunspa. ~ Maria

Having someone to talk to is a key benefit of coaching: It has been my experience that people, including me, need to have someone they can talk to about whatever's on their mind. Although coaches don't solve your problems for you (because deep down we know the answers to our own questions), at the end of the day, we all need to express ourselves and feel heard and understood.

Bottling things up inside and carrying your burdens around with you wherever you go, will weigh you down. It will also keep your stress levels high and will keep you from creating what you want in your life.

Furthermore, I recently learned from my acupuncturist that when you carry an unexpressed emotion, (like if you had a thought but you didn't say something out loud), your body will try to physically get rid of it with something like a rash or acne, for example. And if for some reason the emotion gets trapped and doesn't get released, I have a theory that it will start to fester and then the unexpressed emotion may possibly develop into something like extra body fat or maybe even a tumour.

However, have you ever had a therapeutic massage and have felt something release from a sensitive knot on your body? Well, the body has it's own memory and it keeps score and it never lies. Somehow an event from your past got lodged in your muscle tissue but then with a little focused attention and the help of the massage therapist's hands, you were able to release it.

The same result can happen verbally as well. Expressing your personal thoughts and feelings out loud to someone who listens, cares, and understands, is very healing. If you get whatever you've been worrying about off your chest, I guarantee doors will open and you'll feel better and your stress will become manageable. You just need to find someone who will actively listen to you without judgment in a safe and sacred space. (Excerpt from Maria Koropecky's Creating Wellness ebook).

getting to know you sale.

Announcing the "Getting to know you" SALE!

Do you know anybody who might be interested in life coaching? I've recently completed coaching training through the Rayner Institute and now I need to get 100 hours of coaching time to get accredited with the International Coaching Federation.

Coaching is having a conversation with a professional life coach about you and your future and coaching will help you get what you want.

If you or someone you know are interested in coaching, please contact me because for a short time, I'm willing to provide 5 hours of coaching for $125!

Like I said earlier, if you need to talk, I'm here to listen. You can talk about health & wellness, your love life, your family, your career, spirituality, creativity or anything else that's on your mind.

To book your consultation appointment with me, Maria, please call/text 250-812-3487 or reply to this email. This offer is valid for the first 8 people who sign up or until November 30, 2015, whichever comes first.

Let's talk. We can meet over the phone, on Skype, in person at your home, office, or hotel room, or in person in my treatment room on Cook Street in Victoria, BC. We've got options!

I hope to see you in November and I'm looking forward to getting to know you better!

About Homespunspa

The concept of Homespunspa was sprung from a sleep-over in 1999 after I invited some friends to a slumber party that turned into a spa party.

We each created our own home spa treatments for hair, nails, face and body using natural ingredients like avocados, lemons and essential oils.

That night, my love of spas was awakened and as my head hit the pillow, the word, "Homespunspa" was born.

Homespunspa Enterprises was established in 2001 and the sheep logo was commissioned later that year. In 2002, I launched www.homespunspa.com and the site has been live on the Internet without interruption all of these years.

In 2006, I self-published a book of home spa recipes entitled, How to Throw a Home Spa Pajama Party the Homespunspa Way.

In 2009, I added a blog to the Homespunspa website. In 2010, I graduated from the Aveda Institute with a diploma in Esthetics. In 2011, I added a mobile spa department to Homespunspa. In 2015, I graduated from the Rayner Institute and am now offering life coaching from the treatment room on Cook Street, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Homespunspa's e-newsletter, Ewesletter, is published each month on or after the 16th day.

Thanks for reading the Homespunspa Ewesletter. I hope to see you in person soon.

Sincerely,

Maria Alexandra Koropecky

esthetician, wellness coach, and owner of Homespunspa.
