Take the Chill out of November with these Ideas!

Welcome all new Ewesletter subscribers and hello to all readers. Please enjoy this newsletter and thank you for subscribing and for sharing this Ewesletter with your friends. ~ Maria

It seems Old Man Winter has shown up on our doorstep a little early this year. I personally don't mind the cold temperatures that much because at least the sun is out and it's a nice change of pace from the usual grey skies, wind, and rain we normally get.

Still, if you'd like to take the chill out of November, I have a few ideas.

1) Go to Borscht Fest Victoria this Saturday and enjoy some hot soup.

2) Take a bath with some Candy Cane Spa Salts.

3) Buy Gift Certificates from Homespunspa Moble Spa which are on sale this week for 15% off and give them to your friends and family.

The 1st Annual Borscht Fest Victoria is Saturday, November 22!

What's a Borscht Fest? It's like a chili cook-off but with borscht!

If you like borscht, come to St. Nicholas Ukrainian Hall, 1110 Caledonia Avenue, Victoria, BC, on November 22 and sample as many bowls of borscht as you like and then vote for your favourite. Admission at the door is $10.

Candy Cane Spa Salts Make Great Stocking Stuffers

candy cane spa salts.

There's still time to put your order in for Candy Cane Spa Salts. They make great stocking stuffers and hostess gifts.

By giving spa salts as gifts, you're letting people know how much you care because taking a bath is one of the most relaxing things you can do any time of year.

For me, taking a bath is always delightful. I love lighting a few candles and listening to spa music and immersing myself into the warm water. These aromatic and refreshing Candy Cane spa salts take this experience to a whole new level and leave my skin feeling soft and smooth. It's just a matter of finding the time and sometimes that's easier said than done — but don't let that be an excuse!

Homespunspa spa salts are made from a tried and true recipe. Add them to your bathwater, footbaths and exfoliation treatments to relax your muscles, calm your mind, and to soften your skin.

Candy Cane Spa Salts Ingredients: Epsom salt, sea salt, baking soda, cornstarch, sugar, vitamin E oil, almond oil, niaouli essential oil, spearmint essential oil.

About Homespunspa

The concept of Homespunspa was sprung from a sleep-over in 1999 after I invited some friends to a slumber party that turned into a spa party.

We each created our own home spa treatments for hair, nails, face and body using natural ingredients like avocados, lemons and essential oils.

That night, my love of spas was awakened and as my head hit the pillow, the word, "Homespunspa" was born.

Homespunspa Enterprises was established in 2001 and the sheep logo was commissioned later that year. In 2002, I launched and the site has been live on the Internet without interruption all of these years.

In 2006, I self-published a book of home spa recipes entitled, How to Throw a Home Spa Pajama Party the Homespunspa Way.

In 2009, I added a blog to the Homespunspa website. In 2010, I graduated from the Aveda Institute with a diploma in Esthetics. In 2011, I added a mobile spa department to Homespunspa. In 2014, I added life coaching to the Homespunspa menu of services.

Thanks for reading the Homespunspa Ewesletter. I hope to see you in person soon.
